Sapana began with a deep respect for materials made by hand and the people who make them. We work closely with artisan partners in India, choosing to build long-term relationships with small workshops and rural makers whose skills have been practiced for generations. Sapana pieces aren't about recreating the past. They're about keeping it present. By choosing materials with history and craftsmanship behind them, we help support meaningful work where it already exists — and allow those traditions to continue, naturally and proudly. Thank you for being part of that choice. Every piece starts somewhere else. Sapana works with textiles originally made for everyday life. They've been stitched, layered, and used with care. We honor that history by keeping our designs simple, letting the material remain the focus. Their charitable organization works to rescue slavery victims from traffickers and to rehabilitate survivors with the goal of restoring them to a life full of hope through their trade schools and entrepreneurial development programs.
