Plan Your visit The Heart of Warrenton & Round Top Kicking Up Dust & Havin' Fun Since '87 Built in 1903, Zapp Hall stands as one of the oldest dancehalls in Texas. Its weathered boards and wide-open rafters have seen more than a century of music, laughter, and community, a legacy that still echoes across Warrenton and Round Top today. The Hall first belonged to the Zapp family, who gave this corner of Fayette County both its name and its spirit. In 1968, the Hall passed to the Evans family, who safeguarded it for more than five decades. Under their stewardship, Zapp Hall grew into the beloved gathering place so many know today, a landmark where dealers from across the country came together, live music poured into the night, and traditions like the legendary Prom were born. In 1987, Zapp Hall became an official stop during Texas Antiques Week, cementing its reputation as the beating heart of Warrenton and Round Top. For dealers and visitors alike, it quickly became more than a show venue; it became a tradition, a meeting ground, and a touchstone of Texas culture. Today, we are humbled to be only the third owners in Zapp Hall’s long history. Our family is committed to honoring the legacy built by the Zapps and the Evans while carrying it into a new era.
