Not Just One Show — It's 47 Shows at Once

There is no single “Round Top Antique Show.” The event is actually 47 independently owned venues that each set their own dates, hours, and admission. Some open a week before others. Some close early. The corridor stretches 11 miles along Highway 237 between Carmine in the north and Warrenton in the south, with Round Top at the center.

The Warrenton Antique Show — Same Dates, Different World

Warrenton is a small community about 3.5 miles south of Round Top on Highway 237, and it hosts nearly half the show's venues — running simultaneously with the same dates. Where Round Top leans toward established indoor-outdoor venues, Warrenton is open fields, sprawling lots, and a more hunt-style atmosphere. If you're coming for the raw thrill of digging through rows of outdoor dealers, Warrenton is your first stop.

Key Warrenton Venues

More Warrenton Venues

Warrenton venues run the same dates as the broader show. Plan to spend half a day here minimum — the fields are large and parking is free.

When Should You Go?

Opening Weekend

First pick of the best pieces. Dealers and designers come early. Expect crowds and energy. Some venues have early-access fees ($10–$15).

Mid-Week Sweet Spot

Tuesday through Thursday is the best balance — good inventory, smaller crowds, and vendors who are ready to negotiate. This is when the locals and dealers shop.

Final Weekend

Best deals — vendors don't want to pack it up. Inventory is thinner but prices drop. Great for budget shoppers and the “last look” strategy.

Spring Show vs. Fall Show — Which Should You Attend?

Spring Show (March–April)

  • ›Mild weather — often the most comfortable visiting conditions
  • ›Wildflower season along the Texas Hill Country corridor
  • ›Popular with first-timers and girls' trips
  • ›Slightly smaller than fall in overall vendor count
  • ›2026 dates: March 14–28

Fall Show (October)

  • ›Largest show of the year — maximum vendors and venues
  • ›Cooler temperatures make all-day shopping comfortable
  • ›Biggest crowds — especially opening and closing weekends
  • ›Book lodging early — fills up 2–3 months out
  • ›2026 dates: October 17–31

Frequently Asked Questions

When is the Round Top Fall Show 2026?

The Round Top Fall Show 2026 runs October 17–31, 2026 for most of its 47 venues across Round Top, Warrenton, and Carmine, Texas. Venues set their own dates: the earliest (Market Hill and The Hive) open October 12, and the last (Excess I & 2, Market Hill, Henkel Square, and the Round Top Vintage Market) stay open through November 1.

When is the Round Top October 2026 show?

The Fall 2026 show is the core October 17–31 window, with a handful of early fields opening October 12 and a few venues running through November 1. Marburger Farm and Big Red Barn are the exception to opening day — both open during the show's final week: Big Red Barn opens October 25 (a ticketed Designer Day), Marburger Farm opens October 27, both running through October 31.

When is the next Round Top Antique Show?

The next show is the Round Top Fall Show 2026 (venues open October 12 – November 1, most October 17–31), followed by the Winter Show, January 21–24, 2027. Spring 2027 dates have not been announced yet; we will post them here as soon as they are confirmed.

Does Marburger Farm open at the start of the show?

No — this is a common mix-up. Marburger Farm and Big Red Barn always run during the last week of each Round Top show, not the first. For Fall 2026, most of the 47 venues open October 17, but Big Red Barn doesn't open until October 25 and Marburger not until October 27 — both run through October 31. If either is a priority stop, plan your visit for the show's final week.

Which Round Top venues open early in October?

Market Hill and The Hive open October 12. A few more fields open October 15–16, and most venues are open by October 17. Check the venue-by-venue table on this page for each venue's exact dates and hours.

Is there a Round Top show in 2027?

Yes. The Winter Show 2027 is January 21–24, 2027 — a smaller 4-day show with fewer venues than the main spring and fall events. Spring and Fall 2027 dates have not been announced yet.

What is Warrenton, and is it part of the Round Top show?

Yes. Warrenton is a small town about 3.5 miles south of Round Top on Highway 237, and it is fully part of the same show. About half the venues — including Zapp Hall, Excess I & II, Dillard's Field, and The Marketplace Warrenton — are in the Warrenton corridor. The shows run at the same time, though each venue sets its own dates.

What is the difference between Round Top and Warrenton?

Round Top proper has a mix of established indoor-outdoor venues, including Marburger Farm, Big Red Barn, and Henkel Square. Warrenton tends to be more open-field and rustic in character — large outdoor lots, field vendors, and venues like Zapp Hall and the Excess fields. Both are excellent; most visitors make a full day of both areas.

What is the difference between the Round Top spring and fall shows?

The fall show (October) is generally regarded as slightly larger and more heavily attended. The spring show (March/April) has milder weather and is popular with first-timers. Inventory quality and vendor count are similar for both.

How much does it cost to attend?

Most venues are free admission with free parking. A few premium venues charge entry: Marburger Farm ($15), Big Red Barn ($10), and select others ($5–$10). No advance tickets required for most venues.

How long should I plan to visit Round Top?

2–3 days minimum to see the major venues across Round Top and Warrenton. Serious shoppers and dealers often come for the full week. First-timers should plan at least 2 full days.

Where is Round Top, Texas?

Round Top is in Fayette County, about 90 minutes west of Houston and 90 minutes east of Austin along Highway 290, then south on Highway 237. The show venues stretch 11 miles along Hwy 237 between Warrenton and Carmine.

Is Round Top open year-round?

A handful of venues and shops are open year-round, but the main antique show only runs during the spring, fall, and winter show periods. Outside show weeks, Round Top is a very small town with limited retail.

Do I need tickets in advance?

No advance tickets are needed for most venues — you can show up and walk in. A few venues (Marburger Farm, Big Red Barn) sell early-access passes that let you in before general admission opens.

Is it worth going on a weekday?

Absolutely. Mid-week (Tuesday through Thursday) is the best balance of good inventory and smaller crowds. That is when dealers and locals shop. Weekends have the most energy but also the most traffic.

When should I book lodging for Round Top?

Book 2–3 months in advance for show weeks. Hotels and vacation rentals within 30 miles fill up fast, especially for the fall show. The nearest town with significant lodging is Brenham, about 20 miles east.

When was the Round Top Spring Show 2026?

The Round Top Spring Show 2026 ran March 14–28, 2026, and the 2026 Winter Show ran January 22–25. Both are over — the current show is the Fall 2026 show, with venues open October 12 – November 1.
